Here's a question for those with too much time on their hands. If
China won no medals, what would the medal table look like?

You need to be more specific. Do you mean that the same Chinese
athletes got to the same finals of the same events but didn't perform
very well, OR do you mean that there were no Chinese athletes in the
events at all. The former option is much easier to deal with.

I know there won't be global warming any more and oil prices would be
